Description:

KDTagHelper (V1.3) is a basic helping app for the elderly using a tag to send a preset SMS message, or to speed dial via a mobile phone to a designated phone #. The GPS location information is also embedded in the SMS message. The app not only reminds the user with optional warning beeps if one’s phone is too far to reach, but also provides buttons to ring/locate tag or phone with ease.

Instructions:
1. Download/install KDTagHelper app from Google Play;
2. Enable phone BT communications; some mobile phones might require users to grant permissions for phone dial, sms, locations before running the app;
3. Tag licence number (15 characters), designated contact phone #, preset SMS message, security and validation keyword, phone separation distance limit (10-50m), warning sound options (888 to mute in the separation input field) are to be set in the Setup;
4. To send the SMS message, make two short clicks on the tag. A beep sound would indicate message sent;
5. To speed dial, make a long click (3-5s) on the tag. A beep sound acknowledges a dialling call;
6. To locate phone/tag, press app button or make a short click to ring;
7. Navigate throughout the app using the bottom menu bar.

簡介:
電助通手機遙控掣 (V1.0) 應用程式設計簡便易用，方便長者發送SMS預設短信, 快速撥號到指定電話號碼。當執行短信發送，GPS位置信息及個人驗證碼會同時傳送致預設接收人。當手機遠離遙控掣有效接收範圍，應用程式會通過預設的自選鳴聲提醒用戶。 應用程式亦設有使遙控掣或手機發出鳴聲的功能，方便尋找。

使用方法
1.請到Google Play網站下載應用程式: 電助通手機遙控掣KDTagHelper;
2.打開藍牙功能;
3. 請於手機應用程式主頁輸入遙控掣產品編號 (15 數位)，指定快速撥號聯絡電話號碼，預設短信 SMS 信息，手機距離遙控掣有效接收範圍（0-50米），尋找遙控掣鳴聲聲音選項（輸入888設定爲靜音）;
4.發送SMS預設短信，請在遙控掣上短按兩次， 「嗶」聲表示短信發送成功。
5. 快速撥號到指定電話號碼，請在遙控掣上長按一次（3秒）。 「嗶」聲表示撥號成功 ;
6. 尋找遙控掣使其發出鳴聲，請在手機/遙控掣短按一次 ;
7. 用戶可按手機應用程式界面底部的目錄，通往應用程式各頁。

Tag Helper Troubleshootings

A) No Response from Tag
i) Battery Drained – press button to see if blue led is ON.
ii) Battery Polarities – check if +ve side of battery facing UP.
iii) Sleep – wake up the tag by pressing button for a few seconds.

B) App not Loading and Stopping
i) Android SDK Version – make sure that the SDK>21.
ii) Permissions – the app requires Nearby Devices, Bluetooth, Location, SMS, Call-Phone, Camera permissions.
 

C) Permissions
i) From Phone – use the phone Permission Manager to grant permissions (in B) for the app.
ii) From App – use the Permission Button to grant required permissions.

D) Not Connecting
i) Tag – check tag to see if it works by pressing the button to see the blue led ON.
ii) Licence Number – make sure the licence number in the setup is the same as given one in the tag manual.
iii) Tag Icon – click the tag icon on screen to prompt for connection.

E) No Light in Locate
The Locating light only works for SDK>23.

 

 

 

故障排除指南

A) 電助通手機遙控掣沒回應
i) 電池電量耗盡 – 按下按鈕查看藍色 LED 是否亮着。
ii) 電池放置 – 檢查電池的 +ve 極是否向上。
iii) 省電模式 – 持續按下按鈕幾秒鐘喚醒遙控掣。

B）應用程式未能成功運行或停止運行
i) 更新 Android SDK 最新版本 - SDK 21 或以上。

ii) 手機裝置權限 - 應用程式需要開通權限包括: 附近設備、藍牙、位置、短信、電話、相機。

C）權限
i) 電話 – 使用電話權限管理為應用程序開通如以上 B) ii) 題及的權限。

ii) 應用程式 – 使用權限按鈕開通所需的權限。

D）未能連接電助通手機遙控掣
i) 遙控掣 – 檢查遙控掣是否正常工作，按下按鈕，查看藍色 LED 是否亮起。
ii) 機身編號 – 確保手機應用程式的設定和產品用戶指南上所提供的機身編號相同。
iii) 手機應用程式 – 點擊電助通手機應用程式內的電助通遙控掣標籤以作連接。

E) 定位燈未能顯示
定位燈僅適用於 Android SDK 最新版本 SDK 23 或以上。
